Find out about these fierce Scandinavian traders and sea warriors and learn about their daily lives. There will be a host of crafts and activities, and the opportunity to take part in the Battle of Stamford Bridge, a battle that most historians agree marked the end of the Viking era.
Professional historical reenactors from UK-based Griffin Historical will be providing stories from Norse myth and legend, action activities including combats, feuds and duelling, plus a glimpse into Viking everyday life with object handling and expert knowledge.
