A coastal exploration around La Rocque. Gigantic movements in the earth’s crust millions of years ago, the Ice Ages and the ocean have shaped and continue to influence Jersey today. The beautiful pink granite tells many stories, none the less the seabed and its inhabitants.
On a gentle walk along rocky channels and through water-filled gullies, travel back in time and unveil the traces of Jersey’s geological history and the fascinating story of humans on the Island.
This Geowalk starts on the slipway by the yellow phone box at La Rocque Harbour.
