Admire pieces of art as you wander round the museum, including a portrait of Lillie Langtry by Millais.
Step inside the beautifully restored, gas-lit Victorian House and learn the story of a Victorian family in crisis as Dr Charles Ginestet abandons their beautiful home and flees to France to start a new life. On the ground floor of the Victorian House, visit Trade Roots, a powerful exhibition that examines the evidence of the Island’s involvement in the transatlantic slave trade. Our exhibition 'La Tèrr’rie d’Jèrri - d's histouaithes dé not' Île / Being Jersey - stories of our Island' is open on the first floor, come and explore what makes Jersey a special Island.
