From first hand recounted stories, to McAlister’s experience of Netflix producing the hugely successful feature film Scoop, this will be an event as capturing as the interviews themselves.
Prior to working at the BBC, McAlister was the first member of her family to attend university. Studying at the University of Edinburgh, McAlister became a criminal barrister before working in the media securing high-stakes interviews. Since the interview aired, gaining Prince Andrew global attention, McAlister has left the BBC to write an autobiographical book called Scoops. Subsequently, Netflix have also produced the hugely successful feature film Scoop, which sees Billie Piper play the feisty Sam McAlister.
