18th - 23rd September 2012
The Channel Island shows have been running for 26 years and have become an established annual event.
After 8 years at Trinity the event is now moving back into town at the Royal Yacht Hotel. For the third year we will be introducing food & drink to the festival to give our visitors greater choice especially where the type of product is not generally available in local shops.
There will be a fantastic choice of jewellery to include, semi-precious stones, silver & gold jewellery, organic gems, handmade brass & copper african jewellery, pandora type beads, fine silver handmade crochet jewellery, freshwater pearl jewellery, gemstones & organic gems and eco jewellery.
Some of the old favourites will be returning including photography, wood pens, globes & gifts, wooden puzzles & toys, leather handbags, purses, wallets & belts, candles, marquetry pictures, furniture, hats, african butterfly hair clips, gemstone carvings & fossils, blankets & throws, hand carved wooden animals and alphabet photography.
New and already booked for 2012 will be, leathercraft, early american furniture, exclusive hand made brass & copper jewellery & belts and we expect more new exhibitors between now and the event.
In the food line we have vitamix blenders, curry sauces, Olives, tapenades & ethiopian sauces, cheeses, sweets and others yet to be announced.
Local exhibitors to date include Sheila Baudains photography and Steve Davies pencil drawings.
We have a strict ruling on handmade crafts with a maximum bought in policy of 20% and a maximum number of 10 jewellers restriction and also we avoid duplication where possible.
Admission will be £3 for adults and £2 for seniors & students. Children 14 and under free – must be accompanied by an adult. A 6 day ticket is available for £5 where visitors can come in whenever they like during the festival.
