Tennerfest
Friday 1st October – Friday 12th November 2010
Deals on Meals - Over 170 mouth-watering offers as the Tennerfest Returns
For the 13th consecutive year, starting from the 1st October, the Channel Islands can look forward to 6 weeks of great meals at fixed prices. Across Guernsey and Jersey, the Tennerfest has over 170 restaurants taking part, meaning diners are once again guaranteed to find outstanding menus and meals created from the wealth of good food available in the islands.
Visit www.tennerfest.com for all the menus in Jersey and the other Channel Islands.
The Tennerfest continues to be a promotion that encourages local restaurants to create a special, all-inclusive menu that provides the diner with more at a fixed amount. Restaurateurs on both islands are offering menus starting at £10 with £12.50, £15.00 and now £17.50 options. This enables the restaurants to offer a wide and exciting selection of food during this promotion.
Highlighting the diversity and choice of food available in the islands, there are cafés, bistros, gastro pubs, seafood restaurants, Italian, Indian and Chinese restaurants as well as the more traditional hotel restaurants.
“We are absolutely thrilled with Tennerfest's ever increasing success and growth which has maintained the event’s reputation as the number one culinary promotion in the channel islands,” said Ged Kelly, director at Hamilton Brooke, the agency behind the promotion.” as the years have progressed, it has become very apparent that the dining public know a good offer when they see one and recognise value for money across all of the price bands.
A free Tennerfest supplement that includes all the menus and participating restaurants is also distributed with the Jersey Evening Post in the last week of September. Regrettably we do not post these newspapers off-island, please see www.tennerfest.com prior to your arrival and pick up the newspaper when you're here.

The festival, which has been running since 1998, provides the perfect reason to visit Jersey in October and November. Over the past 12 years Tennerfest has grown in popularity, providing diners with excellent value-for-money and an accessible way to sample the best of Jersey’s vibrant food scene. Menus often feature island delicacies such as local lobster, oysters and fresh langoustines.
Some establishments continue to offer the £10 menus which originally founded Tennerfest 11 years ago, however these days a number of the participating restaurants offer two and three-course menus for £12.50, £15.00 & £17.50. |
Visitors to Jersey are often amazed that despite its size, the island is home to such an array of restaurants. Much of Jersey’s food produce is widely-renowned such as Jersey Royals, Jersey Jewel tomatoes, Jersey black butter and a variety of great seafood, and this has become synonymous with the island’s reputation.
