Durrell Wildlife, founded by pioneer conservationist and author Gerald Durrell in 1959, celebrates its 50th birthday this year. It has become an island icon, though its influence has spread way beyond Jersey.

Join Durrell at Buckingham Palace - 3rd December

Dr Lee Durrell and friends of Durrell will be at Buckingham Palace on the 3rd December to celebrate 50 years of saving endangered species.
This final event in Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust’s 50th Anniversary Celebrations will be an evening drinks and buffet reception hosted by their Patron, HRH The Princess Royal, to thank their current supporters and to introduce themselves to new ones.
Durrell will be showcasing some of their successes during the evening with a short film presentation.
