Jersey Tourism's Public Relations Team provides services to journalists, broadcasters and the travel media, and are keen to develop positive and long-lasting relationships with those who are interested in reporting on the rich cultural, scenic, maritime and gourmet attractions of the island of Jersey.
Jersey Tourism’s Public Relations team play a significant role in the promotion of the island.
We employ specialist agencies in our key target markets namely Seventy Seven PR in the UK & Ireland, Agenda in France and Expert PR in Germany*. The Jersey Tourism PR team work to maximise the agencies’ expertise and their valuable press networks with a view to attracting journalists to visit the island and generate positive editorial exposure on TV, Radio and in the press.
In the competitive world of the media, journalists are constantly looking “for something different” of appeal to their readers, listeners or viewers.
Jersey’s beauty and extraordinary diversity attracts significant media numbers to the island; for example, since January 2009 we have hosted a little under 200 media titles.
To sustain this constant flow of press activity, we are very reliant on our partners to keep us abreast of investments, plans, new products, awards, offers etc. so please take the time to ensure we are kept abreast of your business activity.
More recently we recognise our role in coordinating and supporting the wide range of PR initiatives that are undertaken by our partners. In order to make the most of the collective effort we run briefings aimed at sharing our plans and learning of our partner’s plans.
